This policy explains what information ValuSignal collects through valusignal.com and The Signal newsletter, and how we use it. Questions: info@valusignal.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter signups: your email address, the page you signed up from, and the date.
- Sponsor inquiries and contact messages: the name, company, email, website and message you send us.
- 2026 session library: when you enter an email to watch the ValuSignal 2026 recordings, we check it against the registration list or confirm it ends in .edu. We don't store it or add it to The Signal unless you tick the newsletter box. If access is granted, we set one cookie, holding your email and access level, so this browser stays unlocked until the library closes. Videos play in your browser's own video player, streamed from our storage at Cloudflare through links that expire.
- Site analytics: anonymous, aggregated page-view data from Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
How we use it
We use your email address to send The Signal and occasional messages about it. We use inquiry and contact details only to reply to you. We do not sell or rent your information.
Who processes it
- beehiiv stores the newsletter list and sends the newsletter.
- Resend delivers sponsor inquiries and contact messages to our inbox.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Cloudflare stores and streams the 2026 session recordings.
Each provider processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms.
