Virtual Event Policies

Access & Authentication

Your Virtual Access Credentials Your unique login credentials identify you as an authorized event participant and must not be shared with others. Each registration is valid for one individual participant only. Sharing of login credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

Technical Requirements Participants are responsible for ensuring they have:

Stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps recommended)
Compatible device (computer, tablet, or smartphone)
Updated web browser or required application
Working audio/video capabilities for interactive sessions
Appropriate software permissions to access the virtual platform

ValuSignal is not responsible for technical difficulties, internet connectivity issues, or platform performance problems that prevent participation.

Age Restrictions

Conference Sessions: Participants under age 18 are not permitted in any sessions unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is a registered participant.

Platform Access: Each participant must be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent to participate. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Unauthorized Solicitation and Distribution of Materials

Solicitation of business during sessions and in chat features is entirely prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

Direct messaging other participants for commercial purposes
Posting promotional materials, advertisements, or sales pitches in chat
Distributing unsolicited links, files, or marketing materials
Using participant contact information for commercial outreach

Distribution of materials, links, promotional content, or commercial messages in any session chat, breakout room, or networking feature without the prior written consent of ValuSignal is expressly prohibited.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the event and potential legal action.

Unauthorized Solicitation and Distribution of Materials

No Endorsement of Speaker Opinions The ideas, opinions, analysis, and commentary offered by speakers during this virtual event are solely those of the individual speakers and do not necessarily reflect the position, policy, or opinion of ValuSignal, LLC.

No Recommendation or Endorsement The ideas and opinions presented in these sessions and any products, services, companies, or methodologies discussed by speakers or sponsors should not be construed as a recommendation or endorsement by ValuSignal, LLC.

No Professional Advice Content presented during the event is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or appraisal advice. In issues affecting legal, financial, appraisal, or other professional matters, participants should consult trained professionals to address their individual situations.

Speaker Independence ValuSignal is not responsible for and does not endorse any statements, opinions, advice, or content expressed by speakers, panelists, moderators, or other participants during the event. Speakers are independent contractors or guests and do not represent ValuSignal.

Recording and Screenshot Policies

ValuSignal Recording Rights ValuSignal, LLC will be conducting video and audio recording of sessions and events during the ValuSignal Virtual Event for use in connection with future educational, promotional, and marketing activities. Your participation in the event constitutes your consent to be recorded (video and audio) and photographed (screenshots) and to all uses of the recordings and images so created, including use of your name, likeness, voice, and statements.

Participant Recording Restrictions PARTICIPANTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM:

Recording (video or audio) any portion of the event
Taking screenshots or screen captures of sessions, presentations, or materials
Downloading, copying, or reproducing any event content
Sharing, distributing, or republishing any event materials or recordings

Speaker/Performer Agreements ValuSignal reserves the right to restrict certain content based on speaker or performer contractual agreements. Participants agree to adhere to any restrictions announced during the event.

Intellectual Property and Copyright

Protected Materials All presentation materials, slides, handouts, recordings, and content provided during the event are copyrighted by ValuSignal, the speakers, their companies, or others from whom permission has been obtained.

Permission Required Written permission from both ValuSignal and the speaker is required before:

Publishing or distributing any presentation materials
Quoting speakers in external communications or publications
Using event content for commercial purposes
Reproducing or adapting any event materials

Trademark Usage The ValuSignal name, logo, and branding are protected trademarks. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Virtual Platform Conduct

Chat and Messaging Guidelines

Use chat features only for relevant questions and professional discussion
Be respectful and professional in all communications
Do not spam, post repeatedly, or disrupt sessions
Do not share personal contact information publicly
Do not direct message other participants without their consent

Camera and Audio Etiquette

Keep microphone muted unless speaking
Use appropriate backgrounds or virtual backgrounds
Ensure professional appearance if camera is enabled
Do not create audio or visual disruptions

Platform Features

Use polling, Q&A, and interactive features only as intended
Do not attempt to disrupt or hack platform features
Report technical issues to support, not in session chat
Follow moderator instructions regarding platform usage

ValuSignal reserves the right to mute, disable cameras, remove from breakout rooms, or disconnect any participant who is disruptive or violates these policies.

Privacy and Data Protection

Platform Data Collection The virtual event platform may collect data including but not limited to:

Attendance records and session participation
Chat messages and Q&A submissions
Poll responses and survey feedback
Technical information (IP address, device type, etc.)

Third-Party Platform The event may be hosted on third-party platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Hopin, or similar). Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. ValuSignal is not responsible for the data practices of third-party platforms.

Contact Information Participant contact information will not be shared with other participants, speakers, or sponsors without explicit consent. ValuSignal reserves the right to use contact information for event-related communications.

Defamatory or Inappropriate Content

Zero Tolerance Policy ValuSignal has zero tolerance for:

Defamatory, libelous, or slanderous statements about any person, company, or organization
False or misleading statements presented as fact
Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind
Threats, intimidation, or hostile conduct
Content that denigrates individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
Disclosure of confidential or proprietary information
Violation of others' intellectual property rights

Immediate Consequences Any participant engaging in such conduct will be:

Immediately removed from the event without refund
Prohibited from attending future ValuSignal events
Subject to potential legal action as outlined in the event waiver
Reported to appropriate authorities if criminal conduct is suspected

Reporting Violations Any participant should immediately report behavior they believe in good faith violates these policies by emailing info@valusignal.com. Please include as much detail as possible, including:

Date and time of incident
Session or location within virtual platform
Description of the incident
Screenshots or evidence (if available)

Technical Support

Participant Responsibility Participants are responsible for their own technical setup and connectivity. ValuSignal will provide reasonable technical support during the event but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

No Refunds for Technical Issues No refunds will be provided for technical difficulties, internet connectivity issues, or platform problems outside of ValuSignal's control.

Event Changes and Cancellations

ValuSignal's Rights ValuSignal reserves the right to:

Modify event schedule, speakers, or content without notice
Cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances
Change virtual platforms if necessary
Restrict access to certain features or sessions

Participant Cancellations Cancellation and refund policies are outlined in your registration confirmation. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@valusignal.com.

Compliance with Laws

All participants agree to:

Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
Respect intellectual property rights
Adhere to platform terms of service
Follow professional and ethical standards
Respect the privacy and rights of other participants

Violation of applicable laws may result in legal action regardless of event policies.

Statement of Appropriate Virtual Event Conduct

ValuSignal, LLC is committed to providing a positive, professional, and rewarding virtual experience for everyone associated with the ValuSignal Virtual Event. All participants agree to abide by this Statement of Appropriate Virtual Event Conduct by virtue of their registration and participation in the event.

Professional Conduct Required All participants (including without limitation attendees, speakers, panelists, moderators, sponsors, and vendors) are expected to conduct themselves professionally, to use good judgment, and to be respectful at all times while participating in the ValuSignal Virtual Event. This includes conduct on the virtual platform, in chat features, in breakout rooms, during networking sessions, and in any communications related to the event.

Zero Tolerance for Inappropriate Behavior ValuSignal does not tolerate any inappropriate behavior, including harassment, discrimination, or defamation in any form. Examples of inappropriate behavior include, but are not limited to:

Defamatory or False Statements: Making false, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, or disparaging statements about any person, company, organization, or entity
Harassment: Harassing verbal, written, or visual comments or conduct
Discrimination: Conduct, statements, or content that discriminates against or shows hostility toward an individual or group based on a protected characteristic (race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, etc.)
Threats and Intimidation: Threatening, intimidating, or hostile conduct
Inappropriate Content: Display or sharing of graphic images, offensive language, or sexually explicit material
Disruptive Behavior: Spamming chat, repeated interruptions, or other conduct that disrupts the event
Privacy Violations: Sharing others' personal information without consent or "doxxing"
Platform Abuse: Attempting to hack, disrupt, or misuse platform features
Unauthorized Recording: Recording, screenshotting, or capturing event content in violation of policies

Reporting Violations Any participant who witnesses or experiences behavior they believe in good faith violates this Statement of Appropriate Virtual Event Conduct should immediately report it to info@valusignal.com. Please include as much detail as possible, such as:

Date and time of the incident
Virtual location (session name, chat, breakout room, etc.)
Description of the incident
Names or usernames of individuals involved
Screenshots or other evidence (if available)

Consequences of Violations ValuSignal reserves the right to take any necessary and appropriate action against any participant who violates this Statement of Appropriate Virtual Event Conduct or any event policy, including but not limited to:

Immediate removal from the event without refund
Disabling of chat, camera, and microphone privileges
Prohibition from attendance at future ValuSignal events
Legal action for defamation, harassment, or other violations
Reporting to appropriate professional organizations or authorities
Pursuit of damages and attorney fees as outlined in the event waiver

Personal Liability Participants acknowledge that they are personally liable for their statements and conduct during the event and agree to indemnify ValuSignal as outlined in the event waiver and release.
