Isaac Peck
Isaac Peck is the Publisher of Working RE magazine and the President of OREP, a leading provider of E&O insurance for real estate appraisers, trusted by over 10,000 appraisers nationwide. Peck has dedicated his entire career to serving real estate appraisers with the latest news, information, and liability insurance. In his 15th year at OREP, Peck has extensive experience advising appraisers on risk management, state board complaints, and claims. Peck is a licensed insurance broker in 50 states and holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting.
This session is designed to give appraisers a practical view of where liability risk is coming fromin today’s market and how they can better protect themselves in day-to-day practice. Drawingfrom current claims, complaint patterns, and risk management experience, the session will focuson the issues most likely to create exposure for independent appraisers and small firms,including how changing reporting standards such as UAD 3.6 may affect that risk.
