Rachel Beam is a Director within Single‑Family Collateral Risk Management with more than 25 years of experience in the real estate and valuation industry.
She is responsible for policy leadership across Single‑Family Collateral and Condominium and Project Standards, supporting safe and sound mortgage lending practices.
Her role also includes oversight of Compliance and Fair Lending risk, Appraiser Quality Monitoring, and leadership of the Appraiser Development Initiative® (ADI®), which focuses on expanding access to, and strengthening the future of, the appraisal profession through education, mentorship, and outreach.
She was named a HousingWire Woman of Influence in 2023 and received the Appraisal Foundation’s SAVVY Award for Excellence in 2024.
This session gives attendees a practical look at the Appraiser Development Initiative and its role in helping more people enter, understand, and succeed in the appraisal profession.
The goal is to show how ADI supports the next generation of appraisers through awareness, access, education, and career pathway development.
