Malinda is the owner and operator of Malinda Griffin & Co. She has been appraising as a Certified Residential Appraiser in the Upstate of South Carolina since 1992 and has offered title abstracting services since 1990. Her clients include lending institutions, appraisal management companies, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals. In 2018, Malinda expanded her scope to offer South Carolina Appraiser and Realtor Continuing Education. She served as President of SCPAC in 2020 and continues to serve as Chair of the SCPAC Education Committee. Malinda currently serves on the Board of Directors for NAA (National Association of Appraisers) as President and participates on the following NAA Committees: Appraiser Trainee, Board of Governors, Communications, Conference Program, Executive, Finance, Governmental Affairs, GRH Scholarship, Membership, Appraiser Relief Selection, Nominating, and Public Relations Committees. She is also serving as the 2025 Chair of TAFAC (The Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council). In February 2025, Malinda was confirmed by the South Carolina State Senate following Governor McMaster’s nomination to the South Carolina Real Estate Appraisers Board.

Malinda’s passion for the appraisal profession is evident in her commitment to helping fellow peers stay up to date on the profession and industry through education and timely information. She also has an Appraiser Trainee working under her license. Malinda is a member of the National Association of Appraisers (MNAA), the South Carolina Professional Appraisers Coalition (SCPAC), and the Association of Texas Appraisers (ATA). She holds the HMS (Home Measurement Specialist) and Appraisal Review Certification through NAA.
