Ashley Bierwolf
Ashley Bierwolf is Head of Policy at HomeVision, where she serves as the policy architect behind the MIRA Collateral Underwriting platform. With more than 15 years of experience in the valuation industry, Ashley specializes in translating complex GSE, investor, and lender policy requirements into scalable automated logic — enabling lenders to complete appraisal reviews in seven minutes or less while reducing manual effort by up to 80%.
Her work powers collateral risk analysis for lenders and top AMCs collectively representing over 20% of all U.S. residential appraisals processed each month. Most recently, Ashley led HomeVision's UAD 3.6 readiness effort, building a new policy framework of 800+ automated compliance rules and positioning HomeVision as the first appraisal review platform ready on day one of limited availability.
Ashley also serves as Co-Chair of the Collateral Risk Network's Best Practices Committee and co-authored the industry's Consumer Guide to Appraisals and Reconsiderations of Value.
UAD 3.6 is not just a format update; it fundamentally changes how appraisal data is structured, interpreted, and reviewed.
This session provides a practical, reviewer-grounded look at how appraisal review evolves in a UAD 3.6 environment, and what that means for appraisal quality, consistency, and defensibility.
Rather than focusing on form changes alone, this session reframes review as a data-driven evaluation process, where clarity, standardization, and structured inputs directly influence risk assessment and decision-making.
